FUNPARK's Youth Leadership Committee (YLC) is a group that was born from the conversations of the Mount Druitt Press Conference aiming to engage with the young people from the Mount Druitt who care about their community and want to unpack social issues through creative action.
Membership to FUNPARK’s YLC is open to young people between the ages of 16 – 25 who live in the suburbs of 2770*. The group will meet once a fortnight (for 2 hours) to plan and implement ways in which we can engage the local community in positive change using arts and culture as a vehicle.
The YLC play an important role in advising community leaders on issues that are relevant to young people and will learn creative producing, community organising and advocacy skills by leading the direction of FUNPARK over the next few years.
